TapLook continues to improve its booking experience based on real situations that arise during day-to-day mobile service operations. As more customers choose professional beauty and personal care services delivered directly to their homes, hospitals, senior living communities, condos, and apartments, small logistical details can make a meaningful difference for both customers and TapLook Pros.

TapLook has now updated its booking system with enhanced parking options for services provided at condos and apartments, along with clearer payment method selections. These updates are designed to make booking information more complete before an appointment is assigned, reduce unnecessary communication, and help TapLook Pros arrive better prepared for each service.
Parking is one of the most common logistical questions for mobile service appointments at condos and apartment buildings. Some buildings provide complimentary visitor parking, while others require paid parking. In certain locations, customers may arrange visitor parking themselves, while in other cases the TapLook Pro may need to find and pay for parking before entering the building.

Previously, these details sometimes had to be confirmed after a booking was submitted. This could require additional emails or messages between TapLook, the customer, and the assigned TapLook Pro. The updated booking process brings this information directly into the booking form so that parking arrangements can be identified earlier.
When a customer books an eligible service at a condo, apartment, or similar residential facility, the booking system can now ask about parking for the TapLook Pro. Customers can indicate that free parking is available, that paid parking is required but they will cover the parking cost, that the TapLook Pro will need to arrange paid parking, or that they are not yet sure about the parking situation.
When free parking is available, no additional parking fee is added. If the customer will provide or cover parking, the booking can also proceed without an additional TapLook parking charge. When the TapLook Pro is required to arrange paid parking, a flat $10 parking fee is added to the booking. The parking fee is treated as part of the taxable booking amount, with applicable tax calculated by the booking system.

The parking question is intentionally displayed only when it is relevant. Customers booking a service at a regular house do not need to answer unnecessary parking questions. This keeps the booking experience simple and prevents the form from becoming longer than necessary.
Hospital appointments continue to follow TapLook’s existing hospital parking structure. The new $10 condo and apartment parking option does not replace or stack on top of the existing hospital parking fee. When an appointment is identified as a hospital service, the system continues to apply the hospital parking arrangement separately.
The parking information does more than help calculate the booking total. Once submitted, the selected parking arrangement becomes part of the booking information available to TapLook. This helps the operations team understand the situation at the service location before assigning the appointment.
Parking information is also included in relevant booking details sent to the TapLook Pro. This is especially useful for mobile professionals who may be travelling between several appointments during the day. Knowing whether free parking is available or whether paid parking must be arranged can help the TapLook Pro plan the trip more efficiently and avoid confusion upon arrival.
Along with the parking update, TapLook has also improved how payment preferences are collected through the booking system. Customers can select their preferred payment method when booking, including Cash, E-Transfer, or Credit Card where available through the applicable TapLook booking process.
Adding the payment preference directly to the booking provides clearer information for both customers and TapLook’s operations team. Instead of determining the preferred payment method later, the information can be associated with the booking from the beginning and used as the appointment moves through confirmation, assignment, service completion, and payment processing.
These updates are part of TapLook’s broader effort to build a booking system around the practical requirements of mobile services. An in-home appointment involves more than selecting a service and choosing a date. The TapLook Pro must travel to the customer’s location, access the property, find the correct unit or room, manage parking when required, prepare the appropriate equipment, complete the requested service, and follow the correct payment process.
Capturing the right information at the booking stage makes that entire process more organized.
The changes are particularly important as TapLook serves customers across different types of locations. A service appointment at a detached home can have very different access requirements from an appointment on the twentieth floor of a downtown condo. A senior living residence may have visitor parking and a reception desk, while an apartment building may have only paid street or underground parking. A hospital appointment has another set of requirements altogether.
Instead of treating every location the same way, the TapLook booking system is being developed to respond to the type of appointment and collect information only when it is relevant.
For customers, the result is a clearer booking experience with fewer follow-up questions. For TapLook Pros, it means receiving more useful information before travelling to an appointment. For TapLook’s operations team, it provides more complete booking records and reduces the need to manually clarify parking and payment arrangements.
The update also improves transparency around additional costs. If a customer asks the TapLook Pro to arrange paid parking at an eligible condo or apartment appointment, the $10 parking charge is identified through the booking process rather than becoming an unexpected issue at the time of service. Applicable tax is calculated as part of the booking total.
At the same time, customers who already have free visitor parking are not charged an unnecessary parking fee. Customers who prefer to take care of the parking cost themselves can indicate that during booking. If they do not know the parking situation yet, they can identify that as well, allowing the information to be clarified when necessary.
TapLook believes that a strong mobile service experience begins before the TapLook Pro arrives at the customer’s door. Clear information, transparent pricing, appropriate scheduling, accurate location details, parking arrangements, and payment preferences all contribute to a smoother appointment.
As TapLook continues to grow its mobile beauty and personal care network, the booking system will continue to evolve based on the practical experiences of customers, TapLook Pros, and the operations team.
The new parking and payment updates represent another step toward making TapLook bookings easier to understand, easier to manage, and better prepared from the moment a customer submits an appointment request through the completion of the service.
