Growing up within a community celebrated internationally for producing highly skilled nail technicians, founder Eric Ho recognized something deeper than professional technique. He saw humility, gentleness, patience, and a profound commitment to caring for others. These cultural strengths, combined with his identity and life experience as a Vietnamese-Canadian, formed the foundation of TapLook’s mission: to bring joy, dignity, and confidence back to seniors through accessible mobile beauty care.

What started as a simple idea soon evolved into a broad, practical mission, to provide professional mobile manicures, pedicures, nail care, and haircuts directly inside seniors’ homes. Without travel. Without waiting rooms. Without relying on family members for transportation. TapLook brings salon-quality care to the place where seniors feel safest, their own living environment, helping preserve independence and personal dignity.

To transform this mission into reality, TapLook established a global network of Partners, mobile technicians from diverse cultures, who share the same heart and intentions. They are not merely beauty professionals; they become trusted companions who speak gently, listen sincerely, and bring a reassuring presence into every home. Through TapDemy, technicians can learn, build confidence, access clients, and develop sustainable entrepreneurial careers while maintaining consistent international service quality.

Another milestone in TapLook’s journey was the launch of Mobile Beauty Money, Eric Ho’s book series written to inspire the next generation of mobile beauty entrepreneurs worldwide. These books capture lessons in mindset, client understanding, and emotional impact, reflecting the founder’s belief that beauty, when delivered with compassion, can transform lives and industries.

The fund supports materials, distribution, and volunteer coordination, enabling children across Canada to create handmade Hope Cards for young patients in hospitals and care units.
