TapLook Reduces Travel Fees to Make Services More Accessible Starting April 25, 2026

This update is designed to make our services more affordable while maintaining the high-quality, reliable care that our customers expect.

Over the past months, TapLook has expanded its mobile service network across multiple cities, including Edmonton and surrounding areas. With this growth, we have listened closely to customer feedback regarding pricing transparency and accessibility, particularly for clients living outside the city center. Many families expressed the need for clearer, more reasonable travel fees when booking services at home, in retirement residences, or in hospitals. In response, we have simplified and reduced our travel fee structure to better serve our community.

Under the new pricing model, customers located within 0–20 km of our service zones will enjoy completely free travel, making it easier than ever to book a mobile nail or beauty service without worrying about additional costs. For locations slightly farther away, TapLook applies a small, transparent fee to cover travel time and operational expenses. Customers within 20–30 km will have a travel fee of $10, those within 30–40 km will be charged $15, and for distances between 40–50 km, the travel fee will be $20. This structured approach ensures fairness while still keeping services accessible for a wider range of clients.

This change reflects TapLook’s mission to bridge the gap between convenience and affordability. By reducing travel-related barriers, we aim to support seniors who may have difficulty traveling to salons, as well as busy families who prefer professional services delivered directly to their homes. Whether it’s a routine pedicure, a manicure, or personal grooming service, TapLook continues to prioritize comfort, safety, and personalized care.

By assigning the closest available TapLook Pro to each booking, we are able to reduce travel time, improve scheduling efficiency, and maintain consistent service quality.
